Rekha The Diva celebrated actress Rekha’s birthday in Delhi with a grand cultural program, honoring women achievers and showcasing inspiring performances by differently abled children.
News Delhi | October 9, 2025 | The Interview Times – Delhi’s renowned organization “Rekha The Diva” celebrated the birthday of legendary actress Rekha with a grand cultural event. Established in 2006, the organization has been consistently hosting unique and meaningful programs every year.
This year, the celebration took place at Lajpat Bhavan Auditorium, Delhi, where differently abled children from Samvedna Society walked the ramp with confidence. Motivational sessions and storytelling segments were organized to boost their morale, and they were encouraged with educational kits and trophies for their efforts.
In recognition of outstanding achievements in women empowerment, Seema Chopra, Nisha Kaushik, and Kavita Sharma were honored with the “Woman Power Award.”
The event was graced by distinguished personalities from the media fraternity, including Vipin Kumar, Founder and Chief Editor of National Express; Anil Arora, Deputy Editor and National Brand Ambassador; Sameer Maihar, President of Nrityanjali; Purn Chandra Kishan, IAS Officer; and Santosh Tandon, noted TV host — all of whom were felicitated as Guests of Honor.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Padma Shri Geeta Mahalik, Vijay Srivastava, Dr. Anita Srivastava (Founder of the K. L. Saigal Award), Rishabh Sharma (Founder of Rekha The Diva), Amit Sharma (Managing Director), and fashion designers Sherry, Keshav Tomar, Pooja Sharma, Narendra Sharma, Meenu Singh, and Manoj Sharma.
Captivating performances by Five Sense, Nari Shakti Group, Nrityanjali, Rhythm & Bliss, and Bollywood celebrity Abhimanyu Srivastava added artistic brilliance to the evening. The team from Big FM 92.7, including popular radio jockeys RJ Akriti (Sapno Ki Rani) and RJ Saurabh, enthralled the audience with their lively presence. RJ Akriti was also honored as a Guest of Honor.

The evening became even more memorable with special tributes to actress Rekha performed by famous YouTuber Kanchan Patwa, choreographer Tanya, and artist Lakshmi on one of Rekha’s evergreen songs.
The grand finale featured a stunning fashion show presented by Nisha Kaushik and Beena Bisht, with models Shweta and Mona Rawat winning the audience’s hearts with their captivating walk.
The entire event was smoothly hosted by Meenu Sharma, whose engaging anchoring ensured the program’s resounding success.
