Elon Musk and Bernard Arnault Dine Together in Paris
The world’s two richest people, Elon Musk and Bernard Arnault, met for lunch in Paris on Friday. The Tesla CEO and the LVMH chairman dined at the Cheval Blanc hotel, which is owned by Arnault’s luxury goods conglomerate.
Musk was accompanied by his mother, Maye, while Arnault brought along his sons, Antoine and Alexandre. The two billionaires were seen posing together for photos, and Arnault’s son Antoine shared some of the images on Instagram.
The lunch took place ahead of the Viva Technology conference, which was held in Paris from June 14 to 17. The annual conference is focused on innovation and technology, and Musk was a keynote speaker.
In a tweet on Saturday, Musk said that he and Arnault discussed “the future of AI, space exploration, sustainable energy, and brain-computer interfaces.” He added that he had “a great time” at the lunch.
Musk is the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink, while Arnault is the chairman of LVMH, which owns a number of luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Moët & Chandon.
