UPSC Extends Deadline for CSE 2025 and IFS 2025 Prelims

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the application deadline for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 and the Indian Forest Service (IFS) 2025 Preliminary exams. Eligible candidates can now apply until February 18, 2025, instead of the previous deadline of February 11, 2025.

Additionally, candidates will have an opportunity to make corrections in their application forms from February 19 to February 25, 2025. This gives applicants an extra week to ensure all details are accurate.

This year, UPSC is recruiting for 979 positions in various services, including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and more through CSE. The IFS exam will fill 150 positions. You can check the official notification on UPSC’s website at upsc.gov.in, and submit your applications online at upsconline.nic.in.

The UPSC CSE 2025 Prelims will be held on May 25, 2025. Candidates are reminded that the “first-apply, first-allocate” policy will be followed for exam centers. This means the sooner you apply, the better chance you have of getting your preferred exam center city.
